Marks
The primary logo
The program's full logo. Use it wherever Valencia baseball needs its complete mark: documents, forms, programs, signage. When in doubt, this is the one. It is available as a vector, so it is also the one to send a printer.
The V
The same V that sits in the center of the primary logo, on its own. Use it where a circular badge does not fit, or where the mark needs to be small.
The V, white outline
The same V with a white outline and no gold. Use it on a dark or colored background, or wherever the mark is small enough that the gold outline turns to mud.
The V, one color
Solid purple, no outline. Use it where the process allows one ink: embroidery, single-color screen print, engraving, a one-color ad. This is the file a vendor asks for.
The V, all white
Solid white, no outline. Use it on purple or other dark goods where the process allows one ink, like an embroidered hat or a screen-printed shirt. The vector is the file to send the vendor.
The V, white with outline
The white V with a thin purple keyline and a white outline around it, in two inks. Use it on purple goods where the process allows two colors, like a two-color embroidered hat. The vector is the file to send the vendor.
VIKES, purple
The VIKES wordmark from the back of the program hats, in purple. Use it on white or light goods.
VIKES, gold
The VIKES wordmark in the program gold. Use it on purple, black or other dark goods.
The interlocking VHS
The interlocking VHS from the front of the cream program hat, purple with a black outline.
The script wordmark
A wide lockup for places a circular badge sits awkwardly: a page header, a footer, a banner strip. It is not a substitute for the primary logo.

All five are the same artwork in different treatments. A surface carrying the V and a surface carrying the primary logo are carrying the same mark.

The primary logo is available as a vector, in both PDF and SVG. Every other mark on this page has an SVG too. A vector stores the artwork as shapes rather than pixels, so it prints at any size with no loss: a business card or a sixty-foot fence screen, from the same file. Both have transparent backgrounds. Send a printer or sign shop the PDF; the SVG is the same artwork for design software.
The PNGs are transparent, in sRGB. Right for screen, and fine in print at reasonable sizes, but a PNG has a fixed number of pixels, so past a certain size it goes soft. That is the point at which a vendor asks for the SVG. The script wordmark SVG was traced from its PNG, since no original vector exists, so it is close but not exact.
There is no CMYK or Pantone specification for these colors. A printer matching by eye should be told that is what they are doing. If you hit that gap on a real job, get in touch so we can close it.
If a job needs something none of these files does, ask before editing one. Recoloring a mark, adding an outline or redrawing it produces something that will not sit next to the others correctly.
