Executive Board

Four elected officers, plus the head coach in an advisory role, accountable for running the booster organization.

What the board does

The bylaws put the affairs, activities, and operation of the organization in the Executive Board's hands. It transacts the club's business between membership meetings, creates the committees and approves their plans, and prepares the budget that the membership votes on.

  • Principal executive officer; supervises the activities of the organization, subject to the board
  • Presides at board meetings and at membership meetings
  • Appoints the chair of every committee, and sits on all of them
  • Votes only to break a tie

  • Keeps the minutes of board and membership meetings
  • Sees that meeting notices go out as the bylaws require
  • Publishes the meeting minutes
  • Keeps the volunteer records

  • Authorized custodian of the organization's funds
  • Organizes, documents, and records all financial activity
  • Ensures money is received and spent in line with the club's tax-exempt purpose, bylaws, and budget
  • Keeps financial records that belong to the organization and are available to officers and members on request

The head coach is not an elected officer and serves on the Executive Board in an advisory capacity, without voting privileges. He runs the baseball side of the program; the booster board supports everything around it.

The board creates the committees that carry the program's work, and the President appoints their chairs. There are eight of them, and 5 are currently looking for a chair.
