We want every family to be able to use this site, including on a phone at the ballpark and with a screen reader.
What we do
- Build with real headings, lists, and tables so the page structure makes sense to a screen reader.
- Keep text and background colors at readable contrast.
- Make the site work at any window size, down to a phone.
- Write meaningful link text instead of 'click here'.
- Describe images that carry information.
Where we know we fall short
The statistics tables are dense, and dense tables are hard to navigate without sight. We have not yet had this site reviewed by anyone who uses assistive technology daily, which is the only way to actually know how well it works.
Tell us
If something here is difficult or impossible for you to use, please write to vhsbaseballstadiumclub@gmail.com. Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and we will fix it. If you need information from this site in another format, ask and we will get it to you another way.
