Almost everyone in this program is a minor. This site is genuinely useful to players, families, and college coaches because it publishes real player pages with real statistics, and that has to be handled on purpose rather than by accident. Here is exactly what we publish, what we do not, and how to have something removed.
What we publish about players
- Name, graduation year, and team level.
- Positions played.
- Game statistics from games we scored, and the achievements those statistics earn.
- Photographs from games and program events, where we have them.
- Anything a player chooses to share about himself through the player form.
What we never publish
- Contact information of any kind: email, phone, or home address.
- Date of birth, age, or grade beyond graduation year.
- Middle names.
- Medical, injury, academic, disciplinary, or eligibility information.
- Anything indicating where a player will be outside published game times.
- Parent or family information on player pages.
- Identifiable bystanders in photographs. Spectators, opposing players, and children in the background are cropped out, or the photo is not used.
Photographs
Photos are taken at games and program events. Volunteer and contributed photographs are credited by name. We do not sell photographs and we do not license them to anyone.
How to have something removed
Any parent or guardian can ask, for any reason, and does not have to give one. Email vhsbaseballstadiumclub@gmail.com and the board president will take care of it. You can ask us to:
- Remove a specific photograph.
- Remove your player's photographs but keep his statistics, which is the most common request.
- Remove your player's page entirely.
- Correct anything that is wrong, including the spelling of a name, a class year, or a position.
When we remove a photo we delete the file itself, not just the link to it. If your family declined a media release through the school district, tell us and we will match that here.
