The Valencia Vikings Baseball program continues to thrive, thanks to the incredible support from our alumni, families, and community. As the season changes and our teams take the field for the fall season, we're proud to share exciting updates and a few big wins, both on and off the diamond.

Our home field continues to evolve into one of the best in the Foothill League. This fall, we added a brand-new rain tarp, ensuring our players can protect the infield and keep practice on schedule even when the weather doesn't cooperate. It's a small but meaningful step toward maintaining a first-class playing surface worthy of our championship tradition.

In addition, our outfield now proudly displays new Foothill League Championship screens. This is a powerful reminder of the hard work, discipline, and excellence that defines Viking Baseball. These banners don't just commemorate victories; they symbolize the lasting legacy built by every player who's worn the purple and gold.

Keston Hiura

We're proud to announce that our next Viking to be inducted into the Valencia Vikings Baseball Hall of Fame will be Keston Hiura. His journey from Valencia High to professional baseball is a story of perseverance, talent, and the Viking spirit.

Keston will be officially honored at our First Annual Grand Slam Alumni Dinner on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Valencia Country Club. In addition to honoring Keston, we will also be recognizing our previous Valencia Baseball Players of the Year, celebrating their achievements and lasting impact on the program. This special evening will bring together generations of Viking players, coaches, families, and fans to celebrate our past, present, and future. Expect great food, inspiring stories, and the shared pride of being part of the Viking Baseball family. Registration for the dinner has since closed.

2024 Alumni Game

The celebration continues the next day with our Annual Alumni Game on Saturday, November 29, when the diamond transforms into a reunion stage filled with memories, laughter, and friendly competition. Last year, we had an incredible turnout with over 30 former players returning to take the field, and this year we're aiming to set a new record. Whether you're dusting off your glove or cheering from the stands, it's a weekend you won't want to miss. Alumni registration for that game has since closed.

We're not stopping there. Thanks to generous support from our supporters of the program, more exciting upgrades are on the horizon:

• New hitting netting to improve safety and training efficiency
• Updated varsity uniforms that reflect our championship heritage and modern look
• A pregame tarp to protect the field and elevate game-day preparation
• Field improvements aimed at enhancing playability and preserving our beautiful home field for future generations

Every improvement is a testament to the Stadium Club and its members' mission to provide our student-athletes with an environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and excellence.

Our three teams (Varsity, JV, and Freshman) are already underway with fall scrimmage games, sharpening their skills and building chemistry for the spring season. Our players are putting in tremendous work this fall as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting and competitive spring season. Schedules are here.

The months ahead promise even more excitement. From community events to alumni spotlights, facility upgrades, and future tournaments, there's never been a better time to be part of the Valencia Vikings Baseball family.
