Valencia's JV made a Saturday morning of it against Camarillo, scoring in five straight innings on the way to an error-free 8-1 home win. Aiden Illingworth had three of the seven hits and scored three times, and Miles Shelofsky earned the win with four innings of one-run relief.

The offense mixed patience with punch. Illingworth's leadoff single, Derek Marshall's sacrifice bunt, and Caden Cabunoc's triple to right started the scoring in the second, and Casey Nickson's sacrifice fly made it 2-0. In the third, two more runs arrived without a swing: Harrison Oh walked with the bases loaded and Mikey Cintra was hit by a pitch to force in another. A bases-loaded walk to Alex Bramson added a fifth in the fifth.

Camarillo answered once, Owen Ball's double and a groundout in the sixth, but Valencia put it away in the bottom half with back-to-back doubles by Hayden Jaquez and Illingworth, Jaedyn Morales's RBI single, and Brodie Kersting's sacrifice fly.

The staff and defense were spotless otherwise: no errors, a caught stealing from Tyler Lord, and five hits allowed across Ben Winger, Shelofsky, and Jaquez, who stranded two in the seventh to finish it. Valencia's hitters were hit by four pitches, two off Cintra, and drew six walks.
