Down 8-6 after three innings of chaos, Valencia's JV clawed all the way back at Sylmar: Jaedyn Morales's RBI triple in the sixth pulled within one, and a five-run seventh, built on three straight doubles by Braden Cianci, Morales, and Aiden Illingworth, finished a 12-8 road win.

The early game swung wildly. Illingworth's three-run triple headlined a five-run Valencia third that made it 6-3, but Sylmar answered with five of its own, three walks, two singles, and a two-error misplay in left feeding the rally.

The bullpen ended the drama: Ben Winger stranded runners across 2.1 innings with three strikeouts, and Hayden Jaquez retired all six he faced with three strikeouts over the final two innings.

Illingworth drove in four and Morales three, each hitting both a double and a triple; Sylmar's starter went the distance on 156 pitches, facing forty-two. Harrison Oh caught the first four innings in his first appearance of the season.
