Valencia's JV answered Canyon's two-run first with twelve unanswered runs, ending the league game by run rule in the sixth on Hayden Jaquez's bases-loaded walk, 12-2.

The six-run second did the heavy lifting: Jaedyn Morales tripled and scored on Miles Shelofsky's single, Bodie Johnson doubled, Casey Nickson tripled both home, an error cashed another run, and Jaquez's two-run double capped it. Nickson finished 3-for-4 with a single, double, and triple and three RBI; Jaquez drove in three.

After the first inning Canyon managed one hit, an infield single. Brodie Kersting's three-inning start took just forty pitches, Tee Intharachalit struck out three over three scoreless innings, and eight ground-ball putouts funneled to Shelofsky at first.

The defense erased Canyon's first-inning threat with a cut-down at the plate, Johnson to Lord, and a caught stealing, and the entire bench appeared in the four-run sixth that finished it.
