The freshmen made it a clean Saturday, following the morning's 1-0 thriller with a 6-1 road win that completed the Granada Hills doubleheader sweep and held the Highlanders to one run across fourteen innings on the day.

Four pitchers shared the work. Elijah Garcia struck out four over three-plus innings, Matthew Webb ended the only Granada Hills rally with a rundown pickoff, Jackson Lord bridged the sixth, and Elijah Patlian, in his first appearance on the mound, retired the side in order in the seventh on eight pitches.

The running game did the offensive lifting: five steals set up Ryan Kim's two-run single in the fourth and kept pressure on all day. Marcus Paikos doubled and scored on Hayden Jaquez's sacrifice fly in the fifth, and the seventh broke it open with Kasen Caranto's single and steal, Jace Lindstrom's bunt hit, Jaquez's RBI single, and Elijah Avlas's two-run single.

Paikos finished 3-for-4, his third straight multi-hit game, and Kai Larracas doubled off the bench. The freshmen have now won seven of their last eight.
