Chaminade opened with four first-inning runs, two doubles and a two-run homer to center, and pulled away to an 11-1 win over Valencia's JV, the game ending after five innings.

Valencia's run came in the fourth: Aiden Illingworth was hit by a pitch, stole second, and scored on Gavin Tergo's double down the third-base line.

Freshman call-up Elijah Avlas made his first appearance in a captured JV game, handling first base and throwing two innings of relief with two strikeouts and no earned runs, Chaminade's three fifth-inning runs following an error.

Charles Goodman struck out five, but Chaminade's eleven hits included four doubles and the homer, and Valencia managed three hits without a walk against Chaminade's #20.
