Two days after Saugus took the first meeting, Gavin Tergo lined a two-out single to left in the bottom of the seventh to score Braden Cianci and walk off an 8-7 Valencia win, the JV's first walk-off of the captured season, behind fourteen strikeouts from the staff.

Valencia built a 7-0 lead through three: Aiden Illingworth's two-run single and Caden Cabunoc's RBI single in the first, Casey Nickson's RBI double and a passed-ball run in the second, and Cabunoc and Tyler Lord driving in two more in the third.

Six errors gave it all back. Three misplays at third fed a four-run Saugus fourth, two more errors set up a fifth-inning run, and sacrifice flies finished the comeback at 7-7 in the sixth; only two of the seven runs were earned. Miles Shelofsky struck out seven without an earned run over 3.1 innings, and Tee Intharachalit fanned the side around a fly ball in the seventh to keep it tied.

In the seventh, Cianci was hit by a pitch, Jaedyn Morales singled, a balk moved both into scoring position, and after a strikeout Tergo delivered. Tyler Lord's night: 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, an RBI, and all fourteen strikeout putouts behind the plate.
