The Valencia freshmen made quick work of the early innings at Camarillo, scoring all seven of their runs in the first three frames of a 7-1 road win, their third straight to open the recorded schedule.

The first inning set the tone with five consecutive one-out singles, Elijah Patlian, Elijah Avlas, Marcus Paikos, Jackson Lord, and Jace Lindstrom, worth two runs. Three more scored in the second on Patlian's groundout, Avlas's single, and Paikos's triple to center, and the third added two without a swing: three walks and back-to-back hit-by-pitches with the bases loaded.

Gavin Dunbar made the lead stand, striking out five over five innings and allowing only an RBI double in the third. Kai Larracas faced the minimum over the final two, starting a 1-6-3 double play in the sixth, and the game ended with Lindstrom throwing out a runner at second.

Paikos finished 3-for-4 with three assists at third; the defense also turned a 5-4-3 double play behind Dunbar in the second. Camarillo cycled through twenty players and four pitchers.
