Valencia's first home game in two months turned into the fall's first shutout and its biggest win, 14-0 over Cleveland on sixteen hits and an errorless defense.

Tyler Wertz owned the day from both ends of the battery. His first-inning fly ball cleared the right-field fence with two aboard, he singled twice more for a 3-for-4, four-RBI line, he caught all eleven Cleveland strikeouts across eight innings and threw out a base stealer to end the third, and then, with the shutout one inning from done, he took the mound himself and worked around two walks with a 5-4-3 double play behind him.

The offense never let up: two in the second on Dylan Lapa's two-run single after Kyle Josing's double and Santino Cascione's bunt single, two in the fourth on doubles traffic from Josing and Cascione, two in the fifth, and five in the sixth built on two Cleveland errors, Carter Bennett's double, Kade Breech's two-run single, and Ripken Ely's sacrifice fly.

Five pitchers shared the shutout: Tennysen Enneking's three-strikeout start, Justin Gaisford's four strikeouts in two hitless innings, two apiece from Charles Goodman and Tee Intharachalit, and Wertz's finish. Cleveland drew eleven walks and never brought one home.
